I just saw Avatar. It was about 20 minutes in when I realized I had seen it before….when it was called Pocahontas! Boo, James Cameron, boo…hisss

Haha. While there was an uncanny resemblance to Pocahontas I believe the high level of artistry and truth in every passing moment allowed it resonate with people and touch the sublime.  That’s the beauty of Avatar, at least to me. <3

I haven’t heard this comparison yet. Crystal always says it’s Ferngully. That’s why she’s not that into it.
